State Meet Info

Friday, Nov 2nd:
10:00 Clap off after 3rd period (around 10:00)
All boys will participate in clap off along with Jen Wisniewski.

10:45 Competing runners and team alternate will change and get training run done from school immediately after. Be changed/stretched and ready to run by 10:45.

Change and shower after training run.  
Team lunch at school for those traveling to Columbus.

NOON Depart from school between Noon and 12:30.

Team will go to the course to walk the course and get t-shirts/meet souvenirs.  Then to the hotel and to team dinner at a restaurant afterwards.


Saturday, Nov 3rd:  

OHSAA STATE CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP

at National Trail Raceway, Hebron, Ohio

Team breakfast at hotel. If there is something you always eat, bring it with you.

NATIONAL TRAIL RACEWAY: 2650 National Road Southwest, Hebron, OH

Turn left to merge onto I-77 S toward Akron  9.1 mi

Take exit 144 to merge onto I-271 S toward Columbus  10.1 mi

Take the exit onto I-71 S  102 mi

Take exit 119A for Interstate 270 E toward Wheeling  0.3 mi

Merge onto I-270 E    14.9 mi

Take exit 41B to merge onto US-40 E/E Main St toward Reynoldsburg

Continue to follow US-40 E

Destination will be on the left  16.8 mi

There are several routes you can take....this route avoids the back roads but may not be the best route to take on Sat as there will be heavy traffic.  It is approximately a 2 hour 45 min drive from Independence.  However, please be aware there is limited entrances to the park so expect heavy delays on Sat! Last year it took me over an hour to get into the park from the freeway which was only 2 miles.

Regional Info

Congrats to the boys and girls teams for qualifying to Regionals!  Our Regional meet will be held at Boardman High School (same location as Boardman/Spartan meet earlier in the year).  Look at directions tab for map and directions.

The High School Teams will be racing at the Cuyahoga Hts Invitational on Wednesday, Oct 3rd.
